All the work in the world is great as long as the company you were working for has its morals and benefits put together. Here is a list of a few of our core beliefs and moral principles that we stand on during our day at work and home life.

Crazy friendly

Everyone has heard the classic “Minnesota nice” line, and we believe there is something special about Minnesotans that make them so friendly, but we believe in going above and beyond even the most Minnesota nice people. Always being willing to talk with the customers, have friendly interactions, and provide good customer experience is high on our list and it shows in our review count and customer satisfaction ratings. All of that customer skill translates directly over to employee happiness as well. It’s not just an act we put on for customers, super friendly, and Minnesota. Nice is truly the way we believe you should live, making it a friendly and fun workplace along the way.

Willingness to help

It might go along with being crazy friendly, but a strong willingness to help is pivotal to our success as a company and as individuals in general. The willingness to help anyone and everyone sets us apart from larger more structured firms. Helping customers move furniture, taking care of their small pile of branches, and all sorts of other small mundane tasks set us apart, making our customers want to come back time and time again. We also bring our willingness to help the employees. We have specialized equipment that employees can use in their off time for projects around their house. Bring the bucket truck home to change your high flood light, use the skid loader for a driveway project, or bring a dump trailer back to assist in a demolition and remodel project! We want to make your life better, happy people make the best employees. Big Bark Tree Taming Owner is also a trained and licensed auto mechanic who specialized in Ford and Diesel repair before starting the tree company. We have a full service auto shop set up, tire machines, auto tools, diagnostic computers, the works, all that we offer our employees to use along with our founders knowledge. Did your transmission fail in your everyday pickup? Jacob can help you swap that out in a weekend, getting you back on the road with minimal cost to you!!

Family values

We believe that the foundation of a great employee is a strong family life. When you as an employee are happy and satisfied with your work life your family life can be that much less stressful. It also works in the opposite direction, when you have a strong and dialed family life it greatly improves your happiness and fulfillment at work! Jacob has a young family, so we completely understand the importance of spending quality time at home with your family instead of slaving away at work. Sure, there are times when work goes long, days blend together, and it takes you away from your family, but that never lasts long, and we always try to prioritize getting back to your family instead of squeezing a little bit more work out of you. We also understand the complexities of having kids, if it is time off to help with sick little ones, or sneaking out early to make it to that soccer game, we prioritize those moments over a little bit more work production. Go home, see your wife and kids! The trees will be there later. We also believe that strong families are more easily built when you have the resources needed to make life easier, which is why we try to be one of the highest paying tree companies in the area!

Earn what you are Worth!

Nobody likes the feeling of working hard all the time just to make someone else a bunch of money, which is what we believe that your earning should be tied directly to the work and effort you put in! Our goal is for you to make the most money possible, so when your production is up, things are going well, and you are crushing it, your paycheck reflects the hard work you are putting in. We also believe in the pay scale working the other way. No one likes working hard while a coworker slacks off, all while making the same amount of money that you do. That is again why we tie your paycheck to performance, pushing out the slackers and lazies and rewarding the hard working and exceptional!

This was a quick overview and explanation of a few core beliefs we hold. We believe that these are what sets us apart from others in the area, making us both great to work for and great to work with!
